Garden of hope project

As a proud corporate sponsor of the Cancer Council Victoria, Mandala Art designed, created and installed the Garden of Hope at Federation Square to mark their iconic Daffodil Day campaign.

The Garden comprised of multiple artistic and interactive elements connected by the theme of hope, art and outdoor healthy living; flower boxes of daffodils and yarn bombed crochet flowers adorned the space, surrounding two mosaic park benches that were hand made by Mandala Art in the Cancer Councils signature yellow colour.

The interactive installation was designed to raise awareness of the Cancer Councils tireless work, and encourage the public to share their messages of hope to those affected by cancer. Yellow wall panels were erected, giving the public a place to share their well wishes by the end of the campaign, the panels were brimming with a diverse selection of heartfelt handwritten messages.
